Role: Game Designer / Scripter
Working with Subatomic Studios was inspiring.
My role as Game Designer was broad. Initially I was tasked with managing the creation of the single player campaing. Next, I took on thedesign of or CCG heroes and hero system. Over time I eventually gravitated to being the primary scriptor fo the company, prototyping many of our hero abilties and writing unique AI triggers for specific hero behaviors. In this capacity I was able to take on a few tasks that would have otherwise used engineering time.
Highlights
Created SP campaign plan
Provided feedback to designers on mission gameplay
Collected feedback (and data) from live playtesters
Worked directly with CCO on hero character designs
Word with Lead Designer and CCO on Hero pipeline
Designed the Hero Database and Hero Abilities.
